Michael C. Blickensderfer

Micheal Blick red tieAfter serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mike Blickensderfer attended and graduated from Ohio University in 1974 receiving a degree in business administration. After graduation and prior to going to law school, he worked for several years at JFK Airport, in New York. There, as a Cargo Manager he ran the cargo operations for several major airline carriers, including Saudi Arabian Airlines.

He subsequently attended Seton Hall University School of Law, receiving his law degree in 1985. Mr. Blickensderfer is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey, being admitted in New York and New Jersey in 1986 and Florida in 1987.

He serves clients in personal injury, including automobile accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, dog bites, marine and aviation accidents, motorcycle accidents and wrongful death. Other practice areas include real estate transactions, loan modifications, short sales, foreclosure defense, title insurance and real estate litigation. Other legal experience includes family law, social security and labor law.  Additionally, Mr. Blickensderfer handles business transactions such as contracts and leases.  Michael Blickensderfer practices bankruptcy law, representing clients in chapter 7 and chapter 13 matters.

Michael Blickensderfer has extensive criminal law experience, having served as a prosecutor both in Florida and in New York. Areas of experience includes: narcotics, Medicaid fraud, white collar crime and DUI offenses. Mr. Blickensderfer’s background includes courtroom and trial experience, both in criminal and civil cases. He currently serves clients as a private defense attorney, and gained additional experience having previously served as a public defender.

Mr. Blickensderfer is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Hillsborough Bar Association, Carrollwood Bar, the Florida Trial Lawyers Association and Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association.  His passion is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and see people delivered and set free to fulfill their God ordained destiny.

Fun Facts: Michael served as a U.S. Marine shortly after graduating high school in Ohio, and was almost drafted to fight in the Vietnam War. Michael’s family created one of the first electric typewriters: the “Blick-Electric.”

Alex Serrano

Attorney Alex Serrano was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where he graduated from local Tampa Catholic High School. Alex went on to attend Florida State University, where he received a degree of Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with Minors in both English and History. At Florida State University, Alex was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity; FSU College Republicans; and Scalphunters, an interfraternal student organization that promotes the University’s spirit on campus. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Alex also volunteered and actively participated in several fundraising events and philanthropies, including Dance Marathon and FSU Heart walk.

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree at Florida State, Alex went on to attend Law School at Barry University. While attending Barry, Alex was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity; obtained Book Awards in Drafting Wills and Trusts and Land Use Planning for obtaining the highest grade in the respective courses; and was an active volunteer at the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, a non-profit center that works to enhance the independence of children with motor disabilities.

While completing his education, Alex worked in the Hospitality Industry, and helped manage a local family-owned restaurant. After graduation from law school, Alex was a law clerk for the Wesley Chapel Law Group; and then Blick Law Firm, prior to becoming an associate attorney.

Alex’s areas of practice include Criminal Defense, General Civil Litigation- primarily personal injury, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure Defense.
